Evolution of Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin's career was launched by chance twenty years ago in her native New Zealand when she tagged along to an open audition being held by director Jane Campion for the role of the little girl in the film The Piano. Paquin had only ever played a skunk in a school play, but she impressed Campion so much that she cast her in the role, and she subsequently won an Oscar for it, becoming the second youngest person in history to win an Academy Award.
Since then her career has rapidly escalated, with celebrated roles in movies like X-Men, Amistad and Almost Famous. These days she's best known for her role as Sookie Stackhouse on True Blood, a role which transformed her from a demure brunette to a blonde bombshell.
In honor of the premiere of Season 4 of True Blood this weekend, we put together a gallery of Anna Paquin's fashion evolution.
